    Here goes.
I've just started on 70-229. Yikes.
I've got an action pack, so I've managed to put a server and SQL on a seperate machine to play with.
It's all a bit daunting. I've never done any MCSE stuff, so I'm a real Server dunce.
I've also got the Microsoft press text book to flick through.
Here goes. Any advice would be most welcome...

Best of luck Jonny. I'm just coming to the end of 70-229, will help you out if I can. I use the Sybex study guide.

Hooray, passed after 3 months of graft over my SQL server in the bedroom. I must admit that it was tough though.
    Relief that it's all over.
Now I've only got 70-300 to go and I don't even know where I'm going to start!

Congrats on the pass. It's a tough test. I got the lowest score on it of all the tests I've taken.

I do have a question though. It's related to colloquialisms though. Here in the US "graft" is related to crime, corruption, and payoffs of political figures. What does it mean on your side of the pond?

Freddy, you've come across something that I hit periodically, the difference between how words and phrases are used in the US vs the UK. You should have seen the look on my face the first time I heard about a "lollipop lady". :blink :tongue

"Graft" on our side of the pond means work.
So you could say "That was a hard days graft"
Basically working your Bo**ocks off :biggrin
