I got this 33,000 kb file that I cant upload and send in hotmail.com it contains a few screen shots and I guess it is a rather large attachment can someone help me reduce its size so I can send it, it is important.

    Thank you,

send it as seperate attachments in seperate emails.

IMO trying to send anything over 5mb in an email is just asking for problems.

hell, most isp's will cap incoming and outgoing emails in their system at around 10MB to be quite frank.

I agree with Si, break it down, zip it up and send it through in chunks.

I agree with both infact our companies policy is that any outgoing or incoming emails do not exceed 10MB or they will be rejected.

    are they .bmp?

change them to .jpeg and see if the size has reduced... (when converting them over you will lose some degree of quality, but that should be ok if their screenshots)

Yousendit is easier. The reciever does not have to "repair" the recieved chunks. He just clicks a link and bingo, the file downloads. Simple. Better stil, it does not fill the mailbox of the recieving site.
