    Spark,

    thanks for the pointers matey. we had the demo yesturday (so far we have had Sage CRM) and from what i saw it looks good. Looks like a bit of expansion on the hardware too;

    CRM server, Exchange, Sequal, fail over....

    They advised to go for the SBS up to 75 users..

    Looks like a tidy network! 8)

    If the migration is being outsourced ask the guys to document everything! Must admit I’ve done a few migrations for clients and then just given them the domain administrator password and then legged it to the pub! :biggrin

    Boyce,

    Questions:
    1) What are you exactly trying to do with the GPO?
    2) What kind of clients do you have?
    3) On the server, do you have machine accounts for each of the clients?
    4) On the clients, are they configured so that "domain administrator" is a member of the "local administrators" group, and renamed the client "Administrator" account"?

    Simon SBS has a limitation of 75 connections, I believe those connections are any devices like printers etc as well as users.

    Worth bearing in mind.

    All our clients are running XP SP2
    Machine accounts are created.
    As for the account group, i am not sure, so will check the next time i am at the site and report back. In the mean time, thank you for your help :thumbleft

    from your first post:
    are the actual user objects (or machine objects, depending on what you are trying to accomplish) located outside this new organizational unit?
