Yeah, it is a bummer this. I bought this machine as part of my <test domain>. The machine that has packed up is (or was) the domain controller. It houses a 478 Intel CPU, but is Micro ATX.
I know they are physically smaller than an ATX board, but will the holes line up? There is loads of room in the case....

I'm not sure if the holes line up without going to the specs.

I seem to remember giving a pointer to the ATX specs a few days ago here. If you can't find it give me a shout and I'll check.

Just to let you know, the mobo arrived today and i am in the middle of re-installing 2003 Server.

If that component is an electrolytic capacitor your MOBO has a serious problem.
