Cannot play call of duty 2

    Hi all, just tried to install call of duty 2 for pc, and it says installation failed as graphics card does not support alpha numeric or something like that... why is this?? someone help please.

    we would really need more information than just this in order to help you out. ideally we'd need the specs required for the game (specifically the graphic specs), and the specs of your machine. we would also need the exact error message before we can even begin to hazard a guess on this.

    Would this be 'alpha blending'? I've just done a quick google search and this seems the most likely interpretation of what you said.

    Fix is either update the video drivers, or get a better video card.

    (Note: this type of fix deals with 90% of all game problems I find!)

    COD2 requires a decent gaming type video card what are you using?

    It wont run on any of my machines.
