calling a macro using a formula in excel?

Hi guys,

I know I have read somewhere that you can call a macro with a formula but cannot figure out the syntax.

I am trying to set up a macro that will enter a new cell, add the conditional formatting, formatting, validation etc when a user reaches the 'bottom' of a form.

any ideas...
