Pay day is inches away and i want a lab!

In the off-topic i have posted about serversplus.com if anyone has heard of them.... failing that i will buy from Misco possibly.

Im looking at getting an ml115 Quad, 8gb ram and a switch. The ML115 i have seen for £150 but with 1 year warranty and £200 for the normal model. The RAM is easy enough but the switch i wanted to get opinions on.

    Cisco SLM2008-UK

    HP ProCurve Switch 1800-8G

The procurve is actually £20 cheaper on serversplus.com if its legit.

Both switches are Smart, Gb and have 8 ports. The trouble is the Cisco one supports STP but not SNMP and the HP does not support STP (but will pass through the packets) but supports SNMP. Im learning towards the HP switch as i doubt i have any needs for STP now. Does anyone have any opinions?

I have a old box i will use with FreeNAS for an ISCSI target and was thinking would it be best to get another NIC as well for the ml115?

    Cheers all,

*I have a old box i will use with FreeNAS for an ISCSI target. Should i buy an extra NIC so one points to ESX and the other to my main machine for vids n stuff?*
