    Hi Boyce,
No I don't mind. I was looking at the tags to see why it wasn't displaying properly and then suddenly :)they were.
    Cheers

Looks like you used the Picture tag tool from within the forum and then pasted the link in. The link you copy from the speedtester site already accounted for it. :)

    Well, this is an improvement:

Just goes to show that you need to check your speed at various intervals to gauge speed.

Well ive just joined virgin media and am paying for upto 4mb.
The first time i tested my connection i got an 8mb speed O.o, however ive just re-run it (10:35 pm) and got this :(
[IMG] meh think ill try it tomorrow morning and see what difference it is.

I used to be with BT, however there service and support during my recent house move was apaling, also works out a hella lot cheaper to get my phone / broadband from virgin.

Just been on there on my home PC. Logged onto it remotely thru Logmein (nifty piece of kit by the way :biggrin) and I did a speed test and was getting half what I should be getting. As I am on a 20Mb connection my download speeds can reach as high as 2.3mbps and upload speeds were as high as 100kbps. Now the most I can get is 1.7mpbs and sometimes they can go so low its not going back to the 512Kb days and that I am not happy about. I am going to ring Virgin Media soon and find out more about this.

You don't need to with that site. They offer a set of buttons to copy a reference to the clipboard - chose the 'forum' one and then paste into your post here.
