I to used the Nintendo brain training games/lessons for a while but found them boring after a while.
Through hard work i can now do The Sun crossword though!

I speak English, Spanish and Catalan (well, enough Catalan to get by anyway). I agree, you can easily decipher Italian and to an extent some Portuguese if you can speak Spanish.

French not so much although some elements of Catalan are similar to French thus I did well at French at school. Today I have enough 'schoolboy French' to get me by. I used to use it a bit when I lived in Canada so kept what I learnt a bit fresher.

Whilst in Canada I also learnt that a pack of garbage bags are called sacs d'odeurs!!

 

Nice one. Smelly bag (for those who do not speak French). For the rest, I agree.

 

I enjoy all kinds of mind and strategy games.
