I am intrigued do the people investing in Bitcoin on here see it as a good long term investment or as a bubble that will burst but are trying to get in and out before the bubble burst and make a few pounds?

Honestly, I don't think anyone truly knows what will happen yet. It's new territory - introducing global decentralised currencies. I'd say some of the valuations are unquestionably stupid, but blockchain is here to stay, and there's still a lot of money to be made in this space. There will be a considerable crash, most likely at some point. But some coins/tokens/projects with utility will survive and flourish.

Also, vechain. ;)
