To all of you who so kindly wished me luck, and have supported me throughout my studies, a big thank you.

I did pass both my HW and OS exams today, after a year's slog with every spare moment nose in book. I congratulate the test centre as they were very kind and provided a relaxed atmosphere which helped, albeit I was shaking in my boots.

Good luck to all those whose exams are imminent, and to those studying.

Hi guys,

Thank you very much. Couldn't have done it without your support. Have to confess, woke up this morning and my head was numb - nothing! (sadly, not from celebrating!). From spending the past year, 4/5 hours a day, learning from scratch with nose in book, I've become an automoton. I got a great kick out of looking forward to learning all the techie stuff.

I love troubleshooting, always have in various shapes and forms. Whilst I would really like to jump to an Network + book (which I'll do at some stage in the future), I'm going to pursue my interest in website design and development, which would better suit my home circumstances. Whilst I appreciate that the different 'avenues' are all consuming in their own way, I really have enjoyed doing the A+ and will quietly (when I can) continue to keep up with this aspect one way or another.

To all those studying at this point, from my own experience, I achieved more by reading the material over and over again. I confess to occasionally using prep tests and lab sims, but believe I got most out of repetitive reading. Good luck in your endeavours.

I hope to stay with you, and if there is any way I can offer some of the help and kindness you have all afforded me, I'll be first in the queue to try my best.
