Well surely it depends on your business??

A couple of benefits of Cloud Accounting can be lack of infrastructure costs, lack of patching and maintenance requirements (from your perspective), lack of any onsite backups (ie you don't need to have the infrastructure locally to backup your data, that should all be done by the SAAS vendor).
Another benefit could be the work from anywhere\any time ability, after all you should be able to log in from any net enabled device (obviously you may find that for an Accounting package you want to restrict the access to the portal to only your external IP addresses.

Until we know what your business requirements are we can't really give you a 100% answer that would satisfy any kind of business justification.
