    Over 10 years ago, people said the mainframe would die. How wrong they were. It's stronger than ever. IBM mainframes manage 30 BILLION transactions per day throughout the world. The world's top 25 banks use mainframes.

    Until now there has not been a way to certify skills and expertise in this area. This is why BCS Qualifications developed BCS Mainframe Technology Professional

    I've looked at this before because I started off as a Mainframe Operator. This is the only qualification you can get regarding mainframes although there are tons of courses for JCL, Cobol etc. Very handy for anyone starting out as a Mainframe op/anyalyst/sys prog/programmer. . . . .
