Sorry to make yet another post !

I've just finished the chapter on the command line and just had this little problem.

It gets you to make a .bat file with these command in it using edit :

    md\greatbook
    cd\greatbook

However when I run this file at the command line in xp it won't swtich to the new directory greatbook. It creates the directory ok though. I am spelling everything correctly.

Just wondered why this doesnt work ?

I tried this using notepad to make up the batch file and it went to the new directory greatbook in the win xp command line.

    I did'nt get any problems.try it again.

Glad you got it sorted, Flamehearted. Just to clarify, there's no limit on the number of posts you can make (just look at Gav). :biggrin We are here to help. If you have a question, ask away. :)
