    Hi guys,

A friend of mine works with outlook express 2003 and recently installed the PowerPoint Viewer to see PPS attachments. The outlook program keeps telling him that no program is connected to the PPS extention. Well, there is (I did it myself).

What is wrong? What am I missing?

    Thanks

One occasion when that happened to me the basic .pps had been linked, but not the alternative forms, e.g. .ppt.

No, when he saves the files first, he can view them with the viewer.

have you tried associating the file extension with with power point in the folder options menu? I remember I had a similar problem, so instead of doing an open with and selecting the app, I manually went into the folder options and under the association section I added the extension which as pps in my case.
