I found this gem in an e-mail from Tech-Republic. Since many forum members are studying for their A+ certification and certainly, we can all use tips on hardware, I found this article to be particularly insightful. I stress that it was published by Tech-Republic. I did not write it. I'm not that smart. I'm just passing it along.

One piece of advice...as most of you know, no motherboard is as easy to read as the screen shots show in this article. When looking for motherboard details, use a magnifying lens of some sort. Since I'm an older fellow, I use cheap reading glasses which provide magnification and, wearing them when I work on the guts of a computer leaves both my hands free.
