Another Newbie

    Another newbie here. Currently I am an electronics technician but I am starting to get the urge for a career change into IT, mainly due to the amount of engineering jobs being moved overseas, and my current company being taken over by a global USA company who like moving companies overseas. I am 40 years old and looking at taking a course at JBC training in Coventry. I am planning on doing the course in modules so I can keep my current job whilst planning my escape route. I have a few questions which I will post in the relevant forums.

    Electrician & IT, sounds like a good combination to me, with that electronics background you'll beat the rest :p
