Hi All

I wanted to take a moment to apologise for a post I’d made recently, which has subsequently been removed. It was not my intention to offend anyone, or to indicate that I was taking the place in a new direction. This was an error on my part as I explore ways to cover the hosting bills and backup costs etc. I mixed two of my favourite things with poor results.

This place always was, and always will be predominantly a forum for helping people to pass and discuss IT Certification. Of course we may talk about current events and other topics, but I wanted to assure you that it’s business as usual for Certforums.

I hope that you are safe and well during these troublesome times. I hope that your careers are going well, and that you’re getting some study time to keep those skills sharp, be that certification or on the job training.

Buddy, whatever you said (I didn't see it) was surely only written with the best of intentions in mind. Worry ye not. If anything, it's brought some old faces back to give the place some love ;)

 

Thanks so much mate. Exactly you guys know me. Best intentions for the place always. It was basically a post from me seeing if anyone fancied free non IT related training. Quite off topic so understandable some wondered why it was here.

I love it when an IT guru and published author like yourself pops in to check on us. I’d ask if it’s going well, but I can see that you’re smashing it on all fronts

 

Ha ha ha just imagine something that has nothing to do with CF, and you'd be along the right lines. It was removed and rightly so. I just wanted to check that I hadn't offended or baffled people. Well no more than I usually do ha ha!

Absolutely. I wouldn't have posted it if there was anything dodgy or costs down the road. In this case, it was literally totally free, as the publicity of knowing about that company is reward enough for them. I figured well if people are bored, or have always considered it, you're better off doing something for free over paying. Genuine intentions and all that

 

Anyway, thanks all, I'll lock this thread as it's getting distracting. If we can help you with any of your studies, we'd love to hear from you

 

Didn't see the original post mate, but let's face it, the IT professional is not just all about "hard-skills" and IT related certifications/qualification only
