hi I'm about to sit my Comptia A+ and will follow up with my N+. Once I have finished these i will be looking at completing configuring windows 7 (70-680) shortly followed by Enterprise desktop administrator (70-686). Once all this has been done I will be looking for my first IT role, am i overlooking any qualifications that will help me secure my first role if so which qualifications would you recommend? many thanks.

I'd advise the 70-685, EDST. Desktop support is a lot closer to entry level than administrator.

Why are you waiting to complete those before looking for an IT Role? You should be looking now, get your foot in the door as soon as possible.

Cert's are not a magic key into the industry, they just help. And they often wont help unless you have the experience to go along with them (some certs like A+ and N+ tend to be entry level). You can get in without the certs.

Don't hold yourself back until you get the certs, start garnering the experience now, whilst you study.
