For those old school RTS fiends like myself, GPG and MS have done themselves proud, this is probably the best addition to the franchise since AOE2, and the combination of RPG elements to city life are are great addition to someone like me who moonlights as an RPG whore ;)

Quite frankly, a very polished game, that will apparently be free to play (content packs, booster packs, premium content available for cost)
very pleased so far

Ooh Age of Empires Online is brilliant as far as browser games go - it is now officially in the Open Beta I believe! Is anyone else playing? So great! I am loving this trend of paytoplay games releasing a free game version!

 

Arg, needs games for windows live. Almost enough to put me off!

 

personally i find the games for windows live way less bloated than steam when it comes the the footprint in my games
and the interaction with my Gamer Tag is nice, Dawn of War 2 did this and it was great!
