Hello, my name is Jack and I am an ICT teacher - I've been through an awful redundancy period - I survived but will lose 33% of my salary from July 2012. Looking for another job and want to increase my ICT skills (My background and all my teaching is basically about how to use applications - MS Office, Abode CS on the whole). My hardware knowledge is lacking - I know, shocking for an ICT teacher, so I reckon A+ is good way to start. After that it's going to be Network+ and then we'll see.

    Welcome to CF Jack.

Sounds like you've got a plan there. A+ and N+ are great foundations and will definitely help you and your lessons.

There is also the MOS - Specialising in Word, Excel etc might make things smoother in the classroom.
