Well I have to say that I got my Fellow (FHEA) status of the HEA (now known as AdvanceHE) 2 weeks ago... While not a Computing/ICT specific status/qualification, it's great to be recognised/accredited as a Higher Education teacher/lecturer whose teaching practices are well-aligned with the UK Professional Standards Framework is great news for both my students and myself. Added to this it's a great portable qualification that is transferable between HE institutions.

Considering that this is my second job, I have to say that it ain't bad
