adding Recovery Console as a startup option on your boot menu

    Hi all, I understand you can do this At a command prompt, typing d:\i386\winnt32.exe /cmdcons (replacing 'd' with the letter of your CD drive)

    But after reading it is says 'This does not work on machines that were upgraded to Service Pack 2'

    And I do not understand why a later service pack wouldnt give a user the option of the recovery console on bootup.
