A+ exams

    I know you can do the hardware and OS exams seperately, But is there a time limit for which you have to complete them both or can you just do one without the other

    As far as i know u can do one without the other, but u dont gain an A+ certification, u have to do both and pass it to be a Certified A+ technician...

    Actually,if you are taking the current 2003 objectives exam you will have to take both the Core & OS exams before March '07 (or there abouts) since the 2003 exams will then be completely retired.

    Logically you would want your exams to be fairly close together though,as there are numerous subject overlaps in the Core and OS syllabus.Leaving too long a gap between the two exams will make it all the more difficult to remember all the ins and outs that you will be required to know and,ultimately,tested on.
