This is a bit of a banket question but how hard is the A+ exam, as any one had any difficultly in pasting it?

How much exp do you have with computers? If you only built a comp and think to wing it, it will kick your arse. If your someone that been working with comps for a while I think you will be ok.

If you need a book, IMHO Mike Meyers is the best out there on this subject.

 

Hmmm, on second thought I don't know if Meyers would work for you if your not in the states. Can one of the locals here help me out with this?

 

It works for me here in Switzerland. I think it should be okay anywhere as it's written by a yank and so are the exams.

BTW Coolluke, if you get a moment why not drop by the new members forum and say hello.

 

I live in Scotland...it's standard issue, the only difference is voltages in the u.s and u.k perhaps.

But it's like fixing a car engine....it's all basically the same standards and methods to get the end result.
