Hi guys (me again)

I have had a quick search but didnt get a good answer, can anyone explain the exact format of the two A+ exams (topic, no of questions, requirement to pass etc..)

I've read people with prior knowledge taking these exams within 3-4 weeks and passing and receiving their certification within a month - is this a reasonable estimation to pass the A+.

When I took the exam the number of questions varied because it was adaptive. Don't know if this is still the case.

 

The A+ exams are no longer adaptive.Its just a case now of 80 questions and a time of 90 mins.
A score of 515/900 for the hardware to pass,and a score of 505/900 to pass the O/S.
I think im correct in saying that you score 100 points straight away just for sitting in the correct seat at the exam centre

 

After looking at the FAQ I kinda thought the adaptive bit had gone I think I prefered that format. I remember shocking the guy at my O/S exam because I finished so quickly - he said it was the fastest anyone had ever finished the exam there (and passed)! Story of my life...
