    Hi Dirtyh,

I haven't done A+ but from reading around the forums I think people generally agree that the Sybex study guide is the best around, though I'm sure somebody will be around soon to correct me

We've got to get an FAQ up for this forum pretty soon <note to self...talk to Si> I've always heard that the runaway favorite text for this one is Mike Meyers All-In-One A+ Certification Guide. I studied from it (an earlier edition) and it had all the information. Mike not only knows his stuff, but he makes the book easy to read. It's probably that Texas style of his. Real "homesy and folksy". :) Anyway, the Meyers book would be my recommendation.

aah ha! there you go I told you somebody would be along to correct me. The book Trip recommends is the one I meant, for some reason I thought it was done by Sybex.

Mikes book was the one I used. A very good book with plenty of added personality. A boring subject at time but Mike makes it less of a challenge with his style.

Sorry I'm late on this one, but I'm with Mike too. His style is universally appealing.

    Good choice, dirtyh :)

I've not really read my Meyers book yet.

I've only watched the video CD that come with it.Amazing how well I took things in just from watching.

    No reading.
