Sorry to hear that :( I found that the book is missing a lot. It's the main reason I put this exam on the back burner till I increase my server knowledge since a large part of it need more then a basic knowledge of server systems.

    Don't worry.
There are multiple exam 'forms' for each exam MS offer, so you should get a diff one again next time and that with your extra study (that I'm sure you're now doing... :) ) will give you a good chance of mailing it this time.

Don't forget to look at the areas you were weakest at (were they identified as the same for the 2 exams, or completely different?) and concentrate on re-reading those (skimming through the main parts of the rest won't do any harm either).

I know you have the free resit this time, so it's time to make it count.

Good luck with the continued study and... Chin up! :D

the report from the exam is essentially useless, the two areas weakest last time were strongest this time and vice versa, seems complete pot luck as to the style of question in each area. which obviously I cant go into detail or even talk about due to microsofts disclosure agreement

I will resit it again later this year and see how I go but frankly I've never know an 'educational' course be so unforgiving and trying anything to not help you pass, its totally counter-intuitive to every other educational stream I've ever been part of (nursery right through to degree)
