Hello

Just studying for the 293 at the moment, have got the MS Press book, just wanted to know what people who have done this exam think about the MS Study guide as I have read some reviews on Amazon saying it is lacking in information for the exam... I must say I am 3 chapters in now and it is very very very basic stuff covered so far and I am concerned that the detail needed isn't there. I don't really wanta fail and then buy 2 more books like I had to for the Exchange 2007 exam.

I too would be interested in an answer, as i am also studying for the 70-293. Although i know some people who have taken and passed the exam using the MS press book.

I have noticed that the MS press books don't have all the info to answer every question alone, hence needing the experience that goes with it.

 

Well I've got the MS 70-293 book and I've booked the exam for the end of the week so I'll let you know if it was any good! I've been spurred on by other peoples posts that 70-293 seemed like a rehash of 70-291 so I decided to throw all caution to the wind and just crack on with it. If I fail then I've thrown away £88 but it's not the end of the world. I'll just have to pick myself up and try again.

I've got a holiday booked for early September so I've got a crazy notion that if I can pass 70-293 at the end of this week then I could squeeze in 70-294 before I go on holiday. Who knows if the plan will work but I find the only way to motivate myself to get the revision done is to put myself under pressure.

Anyway come Friday I'll tell you whether the MS Press book was lacking or not (within the bounds of the NDA anyway...)
