    Hello all,

Just joined and wanted to say, "Hey". I'm studying for the "beast" of MS exams the 70-291. I have the MS press book and thinking about purchasing some transcenders. Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Hi,

Like GBL said on your other post, try out all the different free demo's and decide which ones suit you. Me personally I do like Transcender, however their costs aren't that cheap, preplogic is a great alternative and BosonM (another member here) can tell you about the Boson products better than me (if it's anything like his writing, it's going to be rivaling Transcender's quality) :)

Thanks for the props, Ken. :)

I originally wrote the 70-291 product for Transcender. However, I don't know how much of my original work remained after Self Test purchased Transcender, so I don't know how good it is anymore.

Boson has products for 70-291, but they're the "old style" ExSim questions that were created long before Josh and I started working at Boson. As a result, as much as I want to promote our products, I have to be truthful: I can't vouch for their accuracy or usefulness either. It is my hope that, at some point, we go back and create some "new style" ExSim MAX products for the Server 2003 exams. However, that won't occur for a while, what with Server 2008 looming on our horizon.

Download demos from each of the vendors and see which ones you prefer. :)

Just downloaded the demo for 70-290 transcender and the questions are still addressing SUS instead of WSUS. I must say that was a right put off there.

I might have to bite the bullet and go for Preplogic at least I hope they have the decency to have up to date exam syllabus coverage on the 70-290 exam.

I would email them first onoski and ask them if do. This way if they say they do and don't you atleast have a foot to stand on and ask for your money back.
