Maybe you saw Who Cares play at the Cartoon or elswhere around Croydon, 'Time' was one of our better numbers - if you did, I was the guy on the Rickenbacker 4001 bass :git

I can also play the lead solo, or at least I could the last time I tried :biggrin

I still own five guitars btw, inc a Gibson Les Paul and a Fender Strat 8)

Oi, Depeche Mode are great and happen to be one of my favorite ever bands! You wouldn't be able to tell from my name or my avatar though ...

I don't mind either way m8, if we all liked the same thing the world would be a boring place. :)

Just to try to confuse things again, in all my exams I have never seen anything close to scientific mode calculator. Just the basic functions like +-/* for base 10 numbers.

If it is the standard M$ calculator you just change the style in the View menu.

Well this thread has taken a few twists! :biggrin

Ok, so there is a MS calculator in the exam.

On a musical note (ahem!), I play drums and my influences are Metallica and anything heavy. :rocks

Shall we start a Certforums band? :git :twogit :drummer :singer

LOL - "Anything Heavy?" HEAVY?!? - Talking Heads? Blink 182?

methinks your tastes are a bit wider than just 'heavy' :biggrin

I've got a Jackson Warrior, an Gibson V and an Ibanez 7 string Superstrat. I play through a Marshall MG100 with 2 4x12 cabs and a Pod Live for that authentic tube sound...

Most of the time I play rhythm but can play a bit of lead - my style is probably closest to Stephen Carpenter, Dino Cazares or Alex Hellid.

LOL, yeah, I do dig the ‘soft rock’ as well. :biggrin

I used to play in a thrash band, played Metallica, Slayer and Pantera covers. It wouldn’t be a good night unless somebody was knocked out in the mosh pit! :rocks
