    Hi there,

thinking of doing MCDST, and am just wondering is there a big difference between 70-270 and 70-271? looked at MS website, skills measured for both are pretty much the same (if not 70-270 covers more). Reason I am asking is I have already mspress book for 70-270 (passed last month) and if I could avoid buying one for 70-271 would save a bit of my non-existing budget. already got sybex for MCDST, will buy mspress for 20-272 - suppose that would be enough?

    any opinions much appreciated,

Yes, i could suppose. 70-270 covers a bit more in terms of network protocols and services. If you already have the sybex MCDST and u intend to buy ms press book for 70-272, i think that should suffice as some material of 70-272 also overlaps with 70-271, so u would be good to go.

Secondly, if u have already done 70-271, 70-271 will be simple enough for u to pass in a single shot.

    Best wishes :)
