Your network uses TCP/IP as the only network protocol. You configure the remote access server on the network. Some users report that when they connect to the server they receive the message " IPX SPX compatible computer deported error 733". If the users allow the connection to continue they are able to connect to the services that use TCP/IP. You configure your client computers to use only TCP/IP for the connections to the remote access server. Which of the following are achieved (Choose all that apply)?

    A) The message is no longer displayed

B)Connections to TCP/IP services fail occasionally

C)Connections to TCP/IP services always fail

D)Connections to TCP/IP services are working

E)Another message with error 735 is displayed

I would also agree with A and D but it seems a little too obvious.

Hey! Don't knock "obvious". With my track record in this QOTD, I could use a little "obvious" every now and then. Besides, it's not over til it's over.

Hmmm :!: thought about this one a good while.

    I'm going with A and D.

I was about to say somehting else, but upon reading the question again, it wouldn't make sense.

    Look forward to the answer.

Btw thanks for the effort on these questions AJ, they're really a good thing for getting us all into study mode more.
Sorry if I don't always do every question, just sometimes me minds elsewhere. Will try and do them all from now on though.

    Thanks :!:

    Answer time

    Correct answer is: AD

Explanation: The error is related to IPX/SPX. If your remote connection does not need access to any IPX/SPX based service, you may disable the use of it in the connection.

Thanks for your support guys. I'll certainly carry on with this and perhaps some Server 2003 questions as well.

If there is anything else you want here then feel free to post or PM me.

    Cheers

Agreed with Nugget, it did seems too obvious and a nearly made a differnet choice because of it.
