Hello everyone,

As you can probably tell, i have got 3 days (72hours) to pass A+601 . Im getting an average of 70-80% on certblaster and ucertify practice questions. As i have got these days off what would be the best way possible to revise.

1, practise exams
-more exams

2, read over mike meyers book
- go over weak areas

3, memorizing things like CPUs,IRQs,post error codes,dma etc.
-memorizing all specs

What should i concentrate more on??
can someone please tell me the best way to revise.

you have answered your own question, do all 3 but do not over study as you'll burn your self out.

When I had the weekend, I went through the objectives and made some notes on each- I found it helpful for the troubleshooting aspect of the 602 exam.
I wouldn't bother memorising the DMA, IRQ etc, as it didn't appear for me

Focus on no. 2.

I find that physical exersice like a jog around the block before an exam gives me the right mind set so i can think more clearly in an exam. Might just be a silly idea though

JUst because you didn't get it and I didn't get it doesn't mean he won't. There is a big pool of questions which when you start your exam are selected for the ones you get. I got loads of security type questions which took some working out but then again that was my pool of questions, someone else might not get those.

Hooligan you seem to be replying to a few old topics where the OP has most likely moved on and the topic is probably not relevant any more. Not sure if you realise you're doing it but just check the dates of the last post, if it's a few months old or more then then topic is probably not relevant anymore apart from archiving useful info of course - but theres really no need to bump old threads!

 

Yea because ive passed my A+ about 4 months ago! LOL
