You are being ask to write a thesis on a topic you are not very knowledge in. I am very serious in asking about refund. Your teachers are jumping the gun and if they do not realize that you are not ready to write something like that yet, then they are not prepared to teach others. I'll repeat myself. I would ask for a refund and go somewhere else where they acutally pay attention to the students progress.

Kobem, your academic advisor has suggested you write a master's thesis on VoIP but based on what you've posted on this forum to date, you do not have the grasp of even basic networking. Unless you possess networking knowledge and gifts that you have not shared on this forum up until now, it's my opinion that writing an adequate thesis on VoIP technology is beyond your abilities.

The reason everyone on this forum has suggested that you learn the basics of networking (or any other technology you are interested in) is that you desperately need that foundation established before you can advance to more complex networking solutions such as VoIP.

When Mitzs suggests you ask for a refund, she doesn't mean from CertForums (since access to our site is free) but from whatever academic institution you are enrolled in for your master's program.

I'm sorry if I sound harsh, but if you truly want to succeed in a career in IT, you will need to make up your apparent knowledge deficits before you can go on to more advanced topics.

I have suggested Koebem learn the basics too on his other thread.

Koebem all you seem to do is ask questions, as I stated on your other thread if you knew the basics then you wouldn't find the advanced topics as hard as you are.

Always learn the basics first on anything you do.

oh man , all of you misunderstand me

i say i have basic knowledge at least but as i told before some problems occur
    during my study

i repeat all subjects i forgot for instance i couldn't comprehend subnets , NAT
and especially access control lists but now i am good at these

lastly i explain i "have to be on top " in network field this is my target . if you repeat same things
over and over again i can't solve problems and never step ahead

it is important for my life man so important!

If you had basic knowledge, you wouldn't ask the questions you ask.

If some "problems occur during your study", you need to go back and re-learn everything. Otherwise, your degree won't be worth the paper it's written on... you'll have a degree, but won't be able to do the work in the real world.

Or... you can ignore our advice, and find out the hard way, when you get a job and find out that you really can't do the work. The choice is up to you.

Mitzs is right... if your instructors don't know you well enough to know that you have a serious deficiency in those areas of knowledge, then they're not teaching you well.

It's quite odd, Kobem, that when people are trying to help you, you act as if you don't umderstand them and keep repeating your vague questions.

But when someone has a little dig at you (with no malice intended) - you seem to understand exactly what is meant.

    What are you up to?

And no, nothing you have ever posted gives me any confidence that you are capable of network, since you ask.

It's not a language issue, because an IP address is the same in English and Turkish, unless I'm really out of date.
