Is it the final RTM you found or the latest RC? Had a look on Technet too but can't find a final final so to speak.

XP SP3 certainly brings a lot of new features to the table. I've not tried any of the builds yet, but from what you guys are saying if it makes the OS perform better then I am certainly looking forward to installing it.

I've read in various places that it brings over a lot of security related features used in Vista. Hooray! Another reason not to upgrade to Vista then! :D

When is the full version out?

And why doesn't technet have an evaluation version of Windows2000?

Not sure about that one but perhaps Microsoft does not offer evaluations of retired products?

All I could find is this, hope it helps...

This is probably the SP that will inject some fatal flaw into XP and force everyone to switch to Vista...

I have it installed on 2 systems at the moment in an effort to fix some problems that I'm having with a slow network. Didn't fix the problems but the pcs are still stable.

I have just read the whitepaper on it, seems to be more of a security update with added network protection.
