Hi everyone and merry christmas, my question is does the wireless connecter have to be the official xbox one or can you use any adapter.

The 360 will only accept the 'official' wireless usb dongle.

However, there are workarounds. buy a wireless bridge adapter, and use a standard network cable from the xbox to the bridge. The xbox considers itself wired, but the bridge gives you wireless.

I had this until recently, when my bridge died on me.

I did notice places like game and that selling the proper jobs for £35 as a xmas offer, for the difference in price its worth it for having less hassle.

I don't personally use wireless on the xbox as both our xbox's are wired into the router
