I just got back from the test centre. I been studying for 291 since July last year - yeah if you can count up all the months thats 7 months! I covered 2 whole books (MS Press and Sybex) and looked at my Server Inside out ALOT! I have done 4 MS exams so i now know how MS throws questions from all corners!

I looked at the exam objectives and i tried to cover everything - but knowing this is a BEAST - and that you hear of people taking upto 6 times to pass (an average of 2 or 3) - you think no matter how i prepare ill never pass first time. Well i just did - 720!!! Listen to this story and you will say exactly what the guy at the test provider said - THAT IM ONE LUCKY BUGGER!

To sum it up i went into this exam with 3 weak areas: Subnetting,Ipsec and RRAS and i didnt punished at all - lucky draw or big gamble? I think its time i got some luck with these MS exams so i think i deserve my 720 and it wasnt just me taking a risk - for someone of my experience and effort i reckon i can call it even!

I would like to say one thing though - this exam is the first from MS that i have seen where you can stick to Topic X and not have to learn about Y and Z! If you learn what the book says and examine the objectives you can make it!

So im an MCSA - damm that feels good and knowing i killed thie animal 1st time round!

Thanks to everyone who helped me not only for this exam but for the whole MCSA - im real tired didnt sleep much last night so off to catch up and i still havent packed for tomorrow so ill give my usual review later!

You might want to remove the specifics of your exam, particularly regarding the exact sims you got. Information revealing the details of your exam breaks your Microsoft Confidentiality Agreement (not to mention, enables people to study to the specific simulations rather than get a true understanding of the objectives).
