Hi All

Just noticed on my WSUS Server this morning that SP2 for Windows XP has been reissued

anyone know anything about this as i thought Microsoft had decided not to issue any updates this month

you sure? i know there was an xp sp2 reissue around september 2004, but i haven't heard of a new one. i just did a sync on my wsus server at home, but the only reissue was w2k sp4 update rollup 1.

 

Yip came into work this morning and checked and it said issue date 13/09/2005

 

I concur, just checked and our server. I've not come across anything as to why this was updated and theres been nothing in the Microsoft Download Notifications emails.
