Theres a computer on my network with Windows 2000 Professional installed. Its got a Belkin 802.11g network adapter. It's always connected to the network and other times it says its connected but it wont transmit . Ive got SP4 installed. Its secured using WPA.
The first attachment is the one that the setup program shows when its connected and the second one is the one that is shown when its not connected

    Any Ideas

When it isn't connected what IP address does it have? If it is the right one - can you ping the AP?

When its not connected it has the same ip address and will ping the AP. But if i try to logon to my domain it comes up with an error saying "Cannot create profile directory \\M583LMR\USERS\ADMIN\.pds you will be logged on with a local profile. Changes to the profile will not be propogated to the server.
