Hello everybody,

I have been a long time reader of CertForums now, and have found the site an invaluable tool. I thought I should finally register and start contributing. So what better to do, than to introduce myself.

My name is Ben and I am 22 years of age. I currently work for a Secondary School as an ICT Technician. I have been here for just under a year. I have not been actively studying or working towards anything since I landed the job, which is not good in my eyes. The new year shall involve a big change in my mindset, as I plan to really push my career in the upcoming months.

I plan on completing the CompTIA A+ by March 2011, followed by CompTIA Network+ by June 2011. I am well aware that there is now a renewal policy in place for the CompTIA exams, but this is not something I am concerned with as my employer is contributing to my examination fees.

From there, I may look in to developing my Linux skills, as I currently administer and use Linux everyday for both personal and work use.

I look forward to getting to know you all, and helping where I can.
