Word 2003 Issue

    I have an issue where the backspace and tab keys have stopped working in Word 2003. This is only within this program – none of the other Office Suite programs (or any other programs!) I have are affected.

    I have Googled the most common issues for this, and the navigational tickbox for WordPerfect users isn’t selected.

    No other programs have been installed on the PC recently (and they’re not lying, cause they don’t have permission!)

    Any advice would be gratefully received!

    I have had this issue before but for the life of me I can't remember how I got around it.

    Something is telling me it was something to with some macro being enable, but something else is telling me it was an language propblem i.e mine used to be selected for English US and now is Englush UK.

    I really can't remember but I would check the macro button isn't on.

    Checked Tools > Options > Edit tab and ensured Typing replaces selection is selected?

    Rebooted, reinstalled, or repair installed yet?

    detect and repair? restore all settings option?
