Been having a look at the new deployment tool from M$. Loads on deploying Vista but not much on deploying XP. Loaded it onto a test rig, read the M$ paper on it and still trying to work it out.

My main problem is the sysprep tool and what switches to use.

Anyone got any stuff on this?

 

Right got this sorted now. Just playing with it at the moment, but I think I've made an image that we can use for a classroom of PC's. Gonna get my man to make a ghost image before I get started on this so that if things go pear shaped we can still get the machines online.

Gotta admit this is a whole lot better than RIS and I'm only deploying XP with it.
