Seriously though - does anyone really bother that much with the reputation system? Seems to be me and Mike right up there - but I'll be honest, I don't know how, because I hardly ever reciprocate (I think I;ve left about 20 reps in teh entire two years I've been here!)

I do think it's nice to be able to show someone that they have helped you and you have helped them though, but at the end of the day it doesn't mean to much. A simple thanks would do for me.

 

I was the one who put you over the top for your comments in the AV thread. It seemed quite fitting, since you mentioned that it was your opinion that I wasn't trying to "one up" anyone... so I willingly gave up the top spot, demonstrating the accuracy of your opinion quite nicely.
