    Hello all.

Just wondered which certs now replace the MCDST?
I really wanted to do the MCDST but didnt have time before it retired as i was busy doing A+.

Now that i have A+ and currently studying Network + i want to know which Windows 7 exams are the direct replacement for the MCDST as a few family members are wanting to get me study books etc for xmas.

Any help would be much appreciated!!

That would be the MCITP: Enterprise Desktop Support Technician on Windows 7

Although simonvm has given you the closest, I personally don't think it's a replacement for the MCDST. The MCDST was more aimed at people working in small-medium sized companies (i.e. non-domain).

The MCDST and MCITP: Enterprise Desktop Support Technician on Windows 7 are two very different certs.

I would say MCTS: Windows 7, Configuring would probably be closer, but there is no direct replacement.
