Which MCP next (done 290, about to take 291)

Hi all,

As the title really. I'm aiming for MCSE. I already have the 70-270 and 70-284 MS Press books, but unsure if it's the best idea to do these next.

Heard that the 293 carries on the 291, so may make sense to do this next.

So it's either,

a) 290, 291, 293, 294, 298, 270, 284

or

b) 290, 291, 270, 284, 293, 294, 298

What do you guys advise?

I haven't done the 293 myself, but I have heard from several sources that it is very close to the 291. If you can take the pain of studying for both of those in a row it would make sense to do them in that order.

The other don't matte as much, but the logical order is usually client, server then network infrastucture (270, 290, 291).

Didn't think the 293 was part of MCSA? Just checked the MS site again and it doesn't appear to be.

I'm taking the 291 exam next week, so I don't want to pull out that now.

If I go down route a, it means I won't get MCSA until I get MCSE as well. Not the end of the world, although would have been cool to get MCSA earlier.

Been studying hard the last month and have the 290 under my belt. I'm planning on spending 3 weeks, 7 hours a day on each MCP as I'm out of work. I've fair saved a fair bit so I don't have to worry about working for another 6 months. Will hopefully get MCSE in this period.
