Hi. Got my A+ booked for end of August and them im starting the Network+ studying but what will i need?

Is it best to have a server to tinker with while doing the network+ study??

Dont really know much about Networking so really looking forward to learning

Any help would be appreciated.

I wouldn't say it's that important, the A+ benifits more from having a PC infront of you as its more practical based.

A lot of Network+ is theoretical, of course if you have equipment avaliable to apply what you read then great but I wouldn't worry too much.

Also, Mike Meyers All-In-One Network+, very good book.

N+ is my favourite cert to study for so far, very interesting material.
