    AWESOME - JUST AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!! 8)

That Guy can put on a show like nothing I have ever seen before. :clap

When I get my senses back (mainly speech and hearing), I'll let you know a bit more about it. If anyone EVER gives you the chance to go to see him, bite their hand off there and then !

So the place is dark, the music starts, when all of a sudden, the massive wall of video screens fires up with a cartoon-style animation of the band playing the instrumental that is pounding out.

Couple of minutes in, and the "cartoon" changes to the real people - crowd are now going wild !

The song roars to an end, the light show kicks in, then BANG - the band are there, and BLAST into Rebel, Rebel :bluegrab

The whole place goes into uproar, then it just got better and better after that ......Never known anything like it !!! :git

Sorry Phil, I'm not trying to be smug - just that it was a once in a lifetime thing, you know ?

That was the last gig of the European Tour as well, so they were SHARP 8)

Were the Dandy Warhols supporting ? A mate of mine went to see them in Manchester, he hoped that the man himself might make a guest appearance, never did though :)

Sure were, Phil - but unfortunately they suffered from the old situation of the support act being "turned down" so's not to take away from the main act.

They were still damn fine, though - mind you I went to the bar while they were on, so didn't really see all their set :morebeer

Glad you had a good time, Gav. Sounds like a blast. Hard to believe the guy is older than I am, huh?  Just kidding. It's good you had this "once-in-a-lifetime" chance. Enjoy. :)

Nice one Jak, glad you had a rockin 'ol time.

Reminds me of when I saw Oasis at Maine Road, man what a concert.
I admire Bowie a lot for carrying on at his age.

I'm a massive blues fan and a lot of people I listen to are oldies:

    Buddy Guy - 67
    B.B King - 78

Just to name a couple, but they can still rock, who cares about age, I hate ageism.
Glad you had a buzzing time.

PS: Bowie's on Parkingson in a minute.Don't rush though, there's some non-entity on before the main event :D
