I recently got given a Cisco 1603 router with W1CT card but i dont know what its for?
Is it just a normal router or is it something else?

I'm more of a A+/MCDST kind of guy rather than a N+/CCNA person so i dont quite know what its used for.
    (Planning on learning networking though)

Ohh, i also got a Firebox fireguard (http://www.watchguard.com/products/edgex15.asp) any ideas????

    Thanks

Basically a router is a router however with your normal router that you get when you subscribe to an isp the cisco router could have many different computers connected to it on the same network. Usually these specialist routers will have hardware based firewalls which are better than the software ones.
