I'm practically driving from Mexico to Canada, well, from about 15 miles from the Mexico border to about 75 miles from the Canadian border! no drinking for me this weekend I guess!

It's not that much further to Canada

Calais, France to Naples, Italy - Google Maps -> Did that in 23 hours straight on the return trip of S2N 2005 - there were two of us though, nothing like following a couple of lads from Leeds in their Rover 216 who smoke and think throwing the flaming butts out of the window to fly underneath our car with it's leaking fuel tank is a fun game

 

I know, 15 miles from Mexico to 75 miles from Canada
but i told you, didn't bring my passport on this excursion.. lol

Nice. Will you take the legendary drive down the sea side route between LA and SF? Did this in a rented Mustang Convertible with a friend once, was awesome ^_^

 

I've done that on a motorbike before, but im on a bit of a schedule so im hitting I5 for that portion, and jumping back on the 101 after Santa Rosa

I may end up doing it, it doesn't add a whole lot of time to the journey, and i'll be making the stretch to Santa Rosa on Friday during the day, and will be passed LA by rush hour, but ideally i don't want to hit San Francisco during rush hour as the route takes me straight through the middle of Silicon Valley and over the GGB
